a very lucky mommy
So I had issues with finding a Halloween costume for Chesney this year. She's 10, but she's five foot tall and 105 pounds. She regularly wears a woman's small t-shirt.
Halloween costumes only go up to size 10-12 for kids' costumes. If you're thinking the solution is to buy her an adult costume...
Have you seen adult Halloween costumes? Seriously not appropriate for a 10 year old.
She was going to wear an older Twinkie costume that we had around the house. That would have been acceptable. Didn't make her happy (at all).
Coincidentally, Chesney has a speaking part in her upcoming Christmas play. She's an elf.
I'm an overprepared, overorganized mom, so I ordered her an elf costume from Oriental Trading Company on my last pay day. It arrived Wednesday.
Not only does Chesney now have her costume for the play, she's got a Halloween costume.
She's Buddy the Elf. What's your favorite color?
